We know just how much our Beavers and Cubs love to get stuck in, and also how much they love to eat. So, join us, and our brilliant volunteers Joe and Bee, on the 10th of February as we don our aprons and make some fabulous pizzas!
Beavers will be able to work towards their cook activity badge and Cubs can start to earn their chef activity badge. They will probably need a bit of help so an adult should be present during this live activity – plus there will be a need for some taste testing at the end! You will need:
For the base
300g strong bread flour (Or gluten free alternative)
1 tsp (7g) instant yeast
1 tsp salt
1 tbsp olive oil
For the tomato sauce:
100ml passata
I tsp dried basil
1 garlic clove, crushed
For the topping:
125g ball mozzarella (or dairy free alternative)
Sliced vegetables for toppings
Anything else you’d like to add
