A Great weekend for beginners who have never sailed a boat before or for experienced sailors who want to improve their sailing ability and understanding.
You can work towards the new Scout staged badges, Sailing, Nautical skills and Time on the Water, as well as Nationally recognised RYA awards such as RYA Youth Sailing Scheme and RYA Level 1,2 and 3 Sailing Awards.

All the boats are provided. All you need to bring is personal waterproofs, buoyancy aid (50N), suitable footwear , clothing for under waterproofs (preferably wetsuits and Cags), Towel, helmet, changes of clothing and a packed lunch! Limited number of buoyancy aid’s and helmets can be provided by prior arrangements.
Early booking is advisable. Numbers on this event are limited to only 30 (This is therefore offered on the usual first come – first served basis. Places on these days get booked up fast, we can never meet demand!
The weekend will be based at Llyn Brenig Sailing Club.
