When 10:00 1st August – 18:00 31st August 2020
Where Online

At ScoutsCymru we’re passionate about making sure all of our members across Wales are developing a range of skills and interests as well as giving them the opportunity to achieve. One way we do that is through the Top Awards element of our programme.

There are Awards at every level, from the Chief Scout’s Bronze Award to the Queen’s Scout Award. As part of our strategy, we want to support more young people in Wales to reach for the stars and achieve their awards – whilst having a lot of fun along the way!

To do this, we are going to focus on Top Awards throughout the whole of August 2020. There will be webinars, workshops and practical skills videos, all aiming to support the volunteers delivering the programme. Keep your eye on this page and our social media platforms for content throughout the month.

Whether you are totally new to Top Awards, usually include them in the programme but have struggled during lockdown or have some creative solutions for how to deliver them online then there is an event for you! Check out how you can get involved below.

19/08/2020 7:00pm – Top Awards for Explorers and Network, a Blended Approach

We know that whilst we haven’t been able to meet face-to-face, there have been challenges to achieving Top Awards such as Duke of Edinburgh and Queen’s Scout Award.

In this webinar we’re going to run through the ways that adjustments can be made, activities that can be completed at home, and how things might look as we work our way through the readiness levels.
