Did you know ScoutsCymru has partnered with Unity to create a lottery with a difference? Taking part not only gives you the chance to win cash prizes – it’s also an exciting opportunity to support Scouting in Wales, helping to provide even more young people with lifechanging experiences and skills for life.
For every £1 entry, players receive a unique six-digit lottery number. Every Friday, a winning number is drawn at random. Players must match the digits to win up to £25,000 – and there’s a one in 63 chance of winning one of four fantastic prizes. A three-digit match wins five entries into the next draw, or £5; a four digit match wins £25; a 5 digit match wins £1,000 and a six-digit match wins the top prize of £25,000. As well as a chance to win, 50p of every £1 entry directly supports Scouting in Wales. Some of the money goes to groups themselves meaning you could be funding anything from new camping equipment to an indoor activity for a rainy winter’s evening. Some of the money will go into a grant fund which could enable a new group to open or help a leader to take part in a training course so that they can take their group on more adventurous activities.
