Cornel Scout Centre is situated in a wonderful location at the head of Llyn Crafnant, near Trefriw in Snowdonia National Park. It is a 25 acre site on the banks of Llyn Crafnant.
Cornel is owned by ScoutsCymru and run entirely by volunteers. It is a Registered Charity and ALL income goes towards running costs and improvements.
The large house – known as Ty Cornel -and the smaller Annex known as Cornel fach, is a fully equipped indoor accommodation for up to 30 guests. The Centre is available all year round.
It also has a campsite with toilet/shower facilities and 4 pitches available between Easter and the end of September. The total site occupation limit is 60 guests.
The Centre and camping are available for booking by Scouts, Guides and other organised groups, for example: Schools, Colleges, Universities, Clubs, Companies etc. are welcome too and many are regular users.
Cornel is very popular, particularly at weekends and in school holidays – so early booking is always advisable!
