Yr Hafod is flanked by two majestic mountain ranges and is the ideal base to explore the Eryri. The centre runs training and assessment courses, Explorer adventure weekends and Duke of Edinburgh gold expeditions.
The hostel provides indoor accommodation for 32 people. There are great facilities and parking for up to 10 vehicles directly outside the building. Unfortunately, camping is not available at the hostel. Visit Yr Hafod website to find out more and book.
Yr Hafod websiteCornel Scout Centre, open all year round, is situated in a wonderful location at the head of Llyn Crafnant, near Trefriw in Eryri. It is a 25-acre site. The large house – known as Ty Cornel and the smaller annex known as Cornel fach, is a fully equipped indoor accommodation for up to 30 people.
There is also a campsite with toilet/shower facilities and 4 pitches available between Easter and the end of September. The total site occupation limit is 60 guests. Visit the Cornel website to find out more and book.
