We’ve been delivering life skills to young people in Wales for more than a century. A gift in your Will can  help even more young people experience the benefits of Scouting  – now and in the future.

There is no obligation to let us know that you are considering leaving us a gift in your Will but letting us know gives us an opportunity to say thank you and make sure we can answer any questions you may have. If you prefer not to let us know, please accept our warmest thanks for your generosity. 

Ways of giving to Scouts in Wales through a donation in your will

You should seek professional advice when making or amending your will. The most common ways to give are: 

• A fixed amount in the form of a monetary gift.
• A residuary gift. This is a share of your estate once other legacies and charges have been met. It is usually expressed as a percentage or fraction. This way of giving, ensures that the legacy does not decrease in value over time.
