Whether you’re wanting to purchase new equipment, go on a trip, or renovate your Scout hall, it’s not always easy to raise the money to do so.
With this in mind, ScoutsCymru is excited to launch a new partnership with easyfundraising to enable groups in Wales to boost their fundraising efforts with free funding through everyday online shopping.
It’s a simple process. First, sign your group up with easyfundraising, and ask your parents, leaders, volunteers and supporters to do the same.
They then shop online as they usually would for their weekly food shop, summer holiday, or anything else from 8,000 retailers, and the retailer sends your group a free donation as a thank you. In most cases, supermarkets offer a flat monetary amount of up to £5, and other retailers offer a percentage based on what the online shopper spends.
easyfundraising is the UK’s biggest retail fundraising platform and has helped 3,500 scout group in the UK raise over £1.5 million so far – and all for free.
