The Annual General Meeting of the Council of ScoutsCymru will be held on Saturday, 20th November 2021.
BOARD OF TRUSTEES
As noted in the ScoutsCymru Constitution, there are ten seats on the Board of Trustees for Elected Members. There will be elections this year for two positions on the Board of Trustees as follows:
Definition of Regions:
Nominations must be submitted to the ScoutsCymru Headquarters no later than Friday, 15th October 2021. Nominations must be on an Elected Member Nomination Form and must be signed by both a Proposer and a Seconder. Nominees must be a Member or Associate Member of the Scout Association in Wales either uniformed or non-uniformed.
Both the Proposer and Seconder must be current members of the Council of ScoutsCymru and should support the nomination with a statement (max. 60 words each) indicating why they believe that the nominee would make a good trustee, highlighting the qualities and skills they possess.
Candidates must sign the form to signal their acceptance of the nomination and their compliance with the Charity Trustee Declaration Statement. Candidates must also complete the Candidate Information 2021 form.
All Members and Associate Members of the Scout Association in Wales over 18 years old on or before 20th November 2021 are eligible to stand for election as Elected Members of the Board of Trustees, except those who are continuing members of the Board.
If an election is necessary details of the voting procedure will be sent to you by 22nd October 2021.
All Members of the Council of ScoutsCymru will be eligible to vote for the Elected Member of the Board of Trustees.
