  • What is the selection process?

The first step is to complete the application form and send it to us by pressing submit. We will then invite suitable applicants to a selection day. After the selection day we will select young people to join the Jamboree Unit.

  • What will happen at the selection day?

During the selection day there will be a number of activities and team building exercises. You don’t need any special Scouting skills. They are designed to see how you would work as part of the Jamboree unit but also for you to have a bit of fun. There will also be a informal chat with one of the unit leaders. This isn’t a scary interview, just a chance for the leaders to get to know a bit more about you and find out why you want to attend the Jamboree.

The best advice we can give is. Have a go, be yourself and try to do your best.
