There are five programme areas and to complete the Award and you will need to complete two programme sessions at a section appropriate level from each programme area. This is 10 activities in total. For Beavers one session is approximately 30 mins, Cubs 60 mins, Scouts 90 mins, Explorers 120. The programme areas are the same for each section so we would expect the content and complexity to reflect the section in which it is being delivered. This approach allows for multi sections, whole group or integrated sections to work on the award together.
