When 19:00 – 20:00 12th May 2021

Educating young people about water safety is fundamental to saving lives at sea and inland and is core part of the RNLI’s prevention work. The more young people we can reach with our water safety messages, the more lives we can save now and in the future. As a youth leader, you really can make a lifesaving difference”.

Therefore the RNLI is working in partnership with ScoutsCymru on a number of initiatives one being the offer of a Water safety workshop for leaders to up-skill in the RNLI’s key education messages with some hints and tips on interactive activities that can be used to help educate the young people in a fun and interactive way. As well as an overview of the free education resources that can be utilised to support any water safety work you may be carrying out.
